Erin Costello loves to create experiences. To her, interior design is a form of storytelling that allows her to do just that—through materials, objects, and color. She embraces each design challenge and prides herself on her ability manage even the most complex projects.
Erin earned her Bachelor Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Business Administration and Marketing and her Master of Arts in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. Prior to earning her masters, Erin worked for a market research firm, which required her to travel all over the world to conduct research for brands like Neutrogena, Pepsi, and The North Face. Interfacing between designers and consumers revealed her true desire to be a designer herself, which is what prompted her to change careers.
After graduating, Erin worked as a Senior Designer at Studio Gild, a firm named to Architectural Digest’s “One to Watch” list in 2016. Prior to her time there, she worked at some of Chicago’s top design firms, including Simeone Deary and Kara Mann Design. Through these experiences, she gained a wide range of experience designing custom interiors for hotels, restaurants, and high-end residential clients across the country. Erin is excited to be bringing this experience and love for residential design to Los Angeles as a member of the Maverick Design Studio.
